Loved it
Great wine with good body. Great value at this price. Really smooth and a nice depth. Not dry, fruity and would go well with dark meats and cheese. Also nice to drink a glass on its own in my opinion!

Delightful fragrance
A Rhone clone, and none the worse for that. A deep purple-red. Has a delightful fragrance autumn fruit from the syrah overlaid with apricot and floral scents from the viognier, with just a hint of forest floor underneath. Takes some time for the full effect to appear, so it may be worth decanting. Big powerful blackberry and pepper flavours in the mouth. Excellent.

Versatile
An excellent value wine. The choice of varieties gives strong fruit with a hint of spice and a decent finish. One of the few red wines I've tried at this price that can actually cope with curry, though equally at home with roasts, grills or meaty pasta dishes.

A new favourite
This wine is great value and has an approachable but full flavour. I know most wine is described as having 'berry' flavours, but this is a pronounced flavour here, with hints of spiciness. It has a beautiful deep colour. It goes well with light savoury flavours, but not so much with sweet foods. I will certainly buy this wine again.

Favourite Red
We drink this red all the time, it goes well with everything and has a great flavour. I often try other reds when they're on offer but this is the only one I order regularly.
