I love this pesto
It is the nicest pesto I think I have ever tasted :)
Unusual but very pleasant
As someone who uses coriander sparingly, I wasnt sure I was going to like this. I love pesto though so thought I would give it a go. Im not one of those people for whom coriander tastes like soap but this did taste weirdly floral at first try. It was strange but I certainly didnt dislike it. I used it with pasta and the more I ate, the more I enjoyed it. By the time my meals was finished, I wished I had more. I dont agree at all with the reviewers saying theres a strong taste of vinegar as I didnt get that at all. I wouldnt even say there is a strong taste of coriander. All of the ingredients in this create quite a unique flavour. I will definitely be purchasing again.
amazing for coriander lovers
Yes, it's not like pesto because it's based on coriander not basil. I love it. Some people find coriander awful, so if you are someone who doesn't get on with it you won't like this. I find it zingy and adds a nutty herby taste to salads, roast veg, chicken and fish. I put it on everything! Keto friendly as well.
Vinegar
For me the vinegar was overpowering and so we threw it away.
Why so much vinegar?
I have never thrown away any food without giving it at least 3 chances to get on with a new taste but in this case I made an exception. Why to make it vinegary? Why?
yuk
Not like any pesto I've had before - really unpleasant taste - I don't often throw food away but made an exception for this. Sticking to sacla's vegan option.
