Essential? I hope not
I was looking for a cheap bacon just for bacon sandwiches. I normally cook the bacon lightly & then fry the bread on one side in the pan residue. So much water & white scum came out that I would have been boiling the bread & the bacon was stewed rather than fried anyway,so that went in the bin with the rest of the packet.

As good as it gets
I had read an article by a food critic in a Sunday newspaper that Le Rustique was the best Camembert to be found. On visiting the huge cheese counter at one of those French supermarkets I asked in my best French of all those women behind the counter wearing aprons & j-cloths on their heads which was the best Camembert & the response among much giggling was from most of them an immediate."Le Rustique"

No good for ears

Why bother?
There are other retailers who produce a much better pate & it's easy to make it yourself,so if Waitrose want to make one they should make more effort. As others have said it was bland & watery & by that I mean the water had separated out. I might try & "doctor "it before throwing it out.

Best of the lot
I have tried many of the different types of houmos available at Ocado and this week,for the final test I tried this houmos along side the organic version. I can now crown this one the winner as it's creamier and slightly less sharp in flavour.

wrong size
The roll is only two hundred & ten millimetres wide.I have two different types of towel holder,neither of which it fits properly because you need a bit of friction to control the paper as you tug it. As I have two holders just to keep my kitchen neat,I am a bit annoyed that I have six rolls stored in a drawer in case they RUIN the look of my kitchen.I hope I can get over it someday.

I love coriander
Coriander can be very short-lived in the fridge,but somehow through fresh picking or good packaging this coriander can keep for a week in the fridge.

Invariably the best.
I hate to say it,but every time I've been tempted to buy Welsh or English lamb I usually regret not having bought the NZ lamb. It's far better trimmed, has excellent flavour and is never rubbery as the others sometimes are.
