Ingredients

  • 250g linguine or spaghetti
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp very lazy chilli paste
  • 2 lemons, zest and juice
  • 2 tbsp very lazy chopped garlic
  • 300g cooked king prawns, peeled
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 sprinkle parmesan , freshly shaved

Method

Step 1

Bring a large pan of water to a rolling boil.

Step 2

Add the linguine, and cook for 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain thoroughly.

Step 3

Heat half the oil in a large pan and add the chilli paste, lemon zest and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes and add the prawns. Cook for 3 minutes or until the prawns are heated through.

Step 4

Add the lemon juice and remaining oil. Season with freshly ground black pepper.

Step 5

Add the mix to the drained pasta and toss thoroughly. Serve immediately, sprinkled with the Parmesan.

Step 6

If you like things hot add a further teaspoon of chilli paste.
