This breakfast smoothie is packed with vitamins and will get your day off to a flying start. It could hardly be simpler to make (though a blender or hand blender will make the process much easier): just chuck all the ingredients in the blender and whizz until you have a fruity, yoghurty glass of get-up-and-go. It’s a great breakfast if you’re on the go, as you can put it in a travel cup (just make sure you don’t walk down the street with a smoothie moustache). You can also try serving with a swirl of yoghurt or a spoonful of berries on top.

Ingredients
- 450g frozen berries, defrosted for 30 mins
- 1 banana, ripe, sliced
- 500ml orange juice
- 200ml natural yoghurt
Method
Step 1
Place the berries, banana and a little of the orange juice in a blender and blitz until smooth.
Step 2
Add half the remaining orange juice along with the yoghurt and blitz again.
Step 3
Finally add the last of the orange juice, blitz to mix throughly, Serve immediately.
