Fruit and Nut Tapas

The most simple and healthy of ideas - this is really one for the whole family and especially children to encourage them to try as many dried and fresh fruits as possible.

    You can be creative as you like with this, changing the offering on a daily basis according to what you have available. Whatever you present, ensure that colour and variety of textures plays a big part to grab the interest of the children. Also experiment presenting it in different bowls, plates and dishes and then simply walk away and leave them to it! Replenish when necessary and keep substituting with new fruits.


Ingredients

  • 1 handful blanched whole almonds
  • 1 bananas
  • 3 soft figs
  • 1 handful brazil nuts
  • 100g sunflower & pumpkin seeds
  • 100g dried cranberries
  • 100g macadamia nuts
  • 1 pineapple , cubed
  • 1 handful five fruit soft dried medley , mixed handful
  • 10 Strawberries
  • 3 apricots
  • 100g soft dried dates
  • 1 apple, sliced
