Grapes Marinated in Port

Variation

For a lighter dessert, use a drizzle of white port instead.

Instructions

    Prick the grapes with a knife, then place them in a large shallow serving dish and drizzle with port. Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.


  2. 2

    To serve, bring to room temperature, then spoon into glass dishes and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

  • 1 bunch seedless red grapes
  • 1 bunch seedless green grapes
  • 1 drizzle good-quality port
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream, to serve
