Instructions

    Fry off the onions and garlic then add the mince and brown that off. Then add all the other ingredients. Mix together then add water (use the empty tin of tomatoes as a measure - fill to brim) .

    Bring to the boil and then simmer for 50 mins - stirring occasionally.

    Serve with rice and grated cheese (on top) and crusty bread.

  • 500g Lean Mince Meat
  • 1 tin Chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tin Kidney Beans
  • 1 large Onion (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Dried Paprika
  • 3 tsps Dried Chilli Powder (can be reduced if you can't take the heat!!)
  • 3 tsps Cumin Powder
  • 2 tsps Bovril
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 Green Pepper (diced)
