
Cider & Bramley Chops

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp of plain flour
- 2 large of bramley apples
- 2 sprigs of thyme
- 1 large of red onions
- 1 tbsp of wholegrain mustard
- 1 tbsp of blended olive oil
- 250 ml of strong dry cider
- 4 pork chops
Method
Step 1
Heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the onion and apples until softened. Add the chops and cook for about 10-15 minutes, depending on thickness, turning once until cooked through.Step 2
Remove the chops and keep warm while you make the sauce. Sprinkle the flour over the apples and onions and mix. Add the cider a little at a time stirring all the time until thickened and bubbling.Step 3
Stir in the mustard and remove from the heat. Serve spooned over the chops and sprinkled with thyme leaves.
