Our Basmati Rice is cultivated in the sun-soaked foothills of the Himalayas, creating aromatic grains with a lightly nutty taste. Add a bay leaf while boiling to enhance this rice's distinctive flavour, and complement with spicy curries.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. To ensure freshness, peel off sticker provided and use to reseal pack after opening.

Cooking Instructions
Serving size: 50g of rice per serving 100ml water
1. Rinse rice in cold water.
2. Measure out the water then pour into a pan and bring to the boil.
3. Season the water. Add the rice to the pan, stir then return to the boil.
4. Cover and simmer for 10-12 mins until the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked.
5. Remove from the heat, keep covered and leave to steam for 5 mins, then serve.
Do not reheat.
Tips: Add a bay leaf and whole cardamom while boiling to enhance the aromatic flavour.

Hob - From Ambient. Place rice in a large saucepan. Cover with cold water. Add salt, stir and bring to the boil. Simmer for 5 min or until rice is tender. Remove from heat, cover and stand for 5 min. Drain, fluff with a fork and serve.
Do not reheat.
