Finished in hand-selected sherry casks, it delivers a rich, complex character with notes of dried fruit, warm spice, and a smooth, lingering finish.

On the Nose: Sweet fruits of the forest, dark berries, slight nutty notes with hints of dark chocolate.

Aber Falls Whisky is unique in both its production and its taste. Working with local farmers, we use 100% Welsh malted barley and fresh Welsh water, and our recipes have been meticulously built to highlight the quality of these spectacular ingredients. We bottle on site at the Distillery and our Warehouse is located just down the road.
Our stills are also specially designed to produce refined, premium quality whisky. The copper removes any unwanted elements, with the large surface area of our tall still ensuring maximum contact with the liquid. Once distilled, a range of specially selected wooden barrels, including American Oak Bourbon, Virgin Oak and Spanish Sherry, enhance the flavour profile of the whisky during the maturation process. These casks are stored at our warehouse on the menai straits.

The First Whisky Distillery in North Wales, in Over 100 Years.
The village of Abergwyngregyn is home to our distillery, and sits at the foot of the majestic Rhaeadr Fawr waterfall.
Previously a slate works in the 19th century, a margarine factory during the world wars, and more recently a drinks wholesaler depot, our main distillery building was lovingly restored in 2017 and began producing whisky in 2018.
