I love Aberlour whiskies. The whole range. All the reviews here are from people who have been given the whisky for free. Some of them dont even like whisky. How the hell did this happen? Its giving a totally false impression!
I was asked to review this whiskey and have to say am glad I was asked! Although not the cheapest malt you can buy, it is full bodied and flavoursome. The taste is mellow to the palette and warming as you swallow Well worth the money
A special whisky
This was a lovely rounded whisky with enough fire, but a smooth finish. We saved it for a special occasion and were not disappointed. Also an unusual wide necked bottle and nice packaging would make this a special gift.
Woderful tipple and fab packaging
Mellow, smooth and absolutely wonderful. I just need a man, log burner and quaint cottage in the country to pair with this ;)
mellow and fruity
Mellow and fruity. Classy packaging.
Speyside whisky is my favourite so I was delighted to get this review - thanks Ocado! The whiskey is well balanced, with a mellow, slightly smokey flavour. Delicious and not at all like the strong, peaty whisky that puts my wife off! Very smart presentation box too so would make a great present.
