This Riesling is a classic representative from the Mosel region. It impresses in the glass with a pale yellow color and brilliant reflections. On the nose fresh citrus aromas and notes of green apples are predominant. On the palate, this Riesling enchants with its fineness, fresh acidity and a long finish.

LGCF

From the 12th century until the 19th century the Abbey Himmerod had been practiced viticulture. During the existence of the monastery numerous lease agreements for the most famous vineyard location at the Mittelmosel had been signed. The wines for the new range "Edition Abtei Himmerod" had been chosen by the monks of the monastery. For them it was really important to keep the typical minerals of the soil and the character of the wine varieties in order to highlight the unique area of the Mosel.
