Wildflower
honey is distinctly sweet and delicate, and it is thanks to this that it is
very reminiscent of sugar syrup flavour.
It has an intense vegetal aftertaste reminiscent of fruit jellies and
wild berry jam. A fine and compact
honey that is opaque yellow in colour with vegetable and fruity notes.
The production area for this honey are the regions of Abruzzo and
Marche.

Looking at the reviews I had high expectations and expecting it to be runny honey. It was, well it still is, set and sugary. I have been keeping it on the radiator and sunny spots in the kitchen loosened up a little but you can see the sugar granules in the jar.
Drizzle this over some strong Pecorino (Toscana, Sardo, both from Natoora) and serve with figs. Heaven on a plate! Already on my third jar! Looking forward to trying the others!
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I haven’t used honey in many years but tried this on toast and it’s so nice! Definitely on a different level than the cheaper types of honey that I have tried before. Would buy again when on offer.
