Very popular here
Clearly the bitter flavours were what people had been missing as our guests very soon finished the bottle. I particularly liked it with orange juice which I otherwise find too sweet these days. Will be buying more even though I find the pricing of good quality non-alcoholic drinks like these egregious given there's not the same tax to pay.
Rancid bitter vile tatse
Label is difficult to read and impossible for colour blind people. Everyone tasting it gave a synchronised 'eughh'. Bitter dry vile after taste. Diluting with sparkling water also didn't help.
Dinner party conversation starter
like a few others, I had the opportunity to try this. I prefer the bitter over the aromatic. it has more of a "neutral balanced taste" with strong cranberry, redcurrant and cherry flavours. it does have very strong bitter flavours but comparable to tonic waters or gin. I recommend mixing with soda water and a slice of orange
Not for everyone
I was not a fan of this, but my partner enjoyed it with a decent amount of tonic water.
As the name suggests, quite bitter, not unlike an Italian Aperitif. Not for everyone, but certainly made a Good talking point at a recent dinner party with friends.
