Make smaller cartons
I agree with the previous reviewer. I am the only one in our household who uses it. I always end up throwing some away after the 5 day shelf life. I am purchasing more and more of the small cartons of almond milk Rude Health these days (250ml) So much less waste. I’ve sure Alpro organic could take a leaf out of their book and follow suit..
Please bring back 500ml size
As the only person who drinks soya milk in my household I throw half of this away, so frustrating, I'm sure I can't be the only one who brought the smaller size for that reason
Makes nice yoghurt too.
Our staple soya milk, works really well in tea
When I switched to non dairy milk I tried every one I could get my hands on to see how it did in tea. I find many non dairy milks have weird additional flavours, and most leave a bitter tannin edge, like black tea. This particular soya milk is the best of the lot of them in my opinion; very similar in taste to using cow's milk with only a very vague hint of soya flavour in the tea. It works fairly well as a milk substitute in recipes, although I find the flavour more noticeable in some recipes. I sometimes need to add a little more sugar in sweet recipes. It goes well in porridge, giving a nice creamy flavour similar to cow's milk. I also sometimes use it on breakfast cereal, which is fine, although I prefer something like almond or cashew milk for this. As a handy benefit, it's also organic, which is great because soya production can be quite environmentally unfriendly so it's good to support more sustainable soya farming.
This is a delicious, creamy, smooth soya milk with no weird ingredients list. Always on repeat buy.
Not for me
This was a substitute for another alpro soya millk but the other had added calcium. This one doesn't. It's almost all water, the only other ingredient is 8.8% soya beans. So, I don't really understand the point of this product as it's basically adding water to tea or whatever you're pouring it onto. As I say, not for me but I see that a lot of other people are happy with it.
