Many dry cat foods use grains as their primary source of protein. Diets that contain high levels of grain can be hard for cats to digest and convert into energy. This could stress the liver and kidneys and can lead to the development of sensitivities and allergies.
Grains such as wheat, sorghum, barley, rice and corn are also a major source of carbohydrate and high levels can produce surges in blood sugar making it more difficult for cats to maintain healthy levels of weight and or body fat.
Meat or animal protein contains virtually no carbohydrates and encourages the development of lean muscle tissue.This is the reason why chicken is the only animal protein used in Applaws dry food.

Feeding Guide
For adult cats over 1 year of age. Suggested daily feeding guide.
Requirements may vary according to size, age and activity level of your cat. Always check your cat has fresh clean water available to drink. Add just a few kibbles on day one and gradually replace the old diet with Applaws over a minimum of ten days. Each kibble can weigh more than ordinary kibbles, so be careful not to overfeed.
