baby loves it

I started my 5-month old on this once a day to test weaning and so far all well with her digestion and she loved the texture. I did add a tiny bit more water than the instructed which made for a smoother texture.

It constipates my baby

Whenever I gave this to my little boy, it constipated him really badly.

Great product

This is a very good product to help with first weaning for very little babies. Very easy to prepare, and enjoyed by my little one. Eventually, we use it as a base to start introducing other things, e.g. mixing in mashed bananas. Eventually, you should aim to mix other types of grains into the baby's diet and try avoiding relying heavily on rice. As great as rice is, and strongly recommended as part of a healthy balanced diet, too much can lead to high amounts of aresnic (naturally found in rice) the longterm impacts of which are not completely understood. Don't worry too much about it though, after all, most of Asia eat rice-based meals x3 times per day all their life and are way healthier than us in the UK (generally)!
