Ara Zero is made from Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc grapes; advanced technology has been used to gently remove the alcohol, leaving all the beautiful flavours you've come to expect from an Ara Sauvignon Blanc wine.

This alcohol-removed Sauvignon Blanc contains less than 0.5% alcohol, a similar level found in natural fruit juice.

A refreshing, no-alcohol Sauvignon Blanc alternative, Ara Zero is crafted using full-strength wine. We distill off the alcohol, and make sure that what's left behind is all classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc flavour.

Tasting Note
This refreshing alcohol-free wine shows classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc notes of tropical fruit and grapefruit. Layers of passion fruit and pineapple fill the palate, creating a delicious balanced between fruit sweetness, juicy texture and a crisp finish. Enjoy for its lighter style and low calories.

Winemaking
After growing our grapes in the vineyard for a full season, we harvest the fruit and craft a premium full-strength Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc wine. Then using advance technology spinning cone technology we gently remove the aroma and the alcohol at low temperatures to retain the wine flavour characteristics. The delicate aroma is then added back into the body of the alcohol-removed wine along with a small amount of premium grape juice to round out the final blend. This results in a crisp, refreshing non-alcoholic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc wine, with low calories.

Duncan Shouler

Machine harvested fruit from throughout the Marlborough region was used to create the base wine. Selected yeast strains were utilised to enhance varietal expression followed by a cool ferment. Wine was blended, stabilised and filtered before passing through spinning cone which gently removes the aroma, and then the alcohol. We collect the delicate aroma and recombine it with the wine in the final blend to ensure varietal and regional expression is maintained.
