Perfect versatile protein
Absolutely the best Quark outside Bavaria. Good solid consistency, not runny or watery like some others. Excellent quality each delivery, reliable. Can be used straight from pot once one gets used to no sugar. Can be used in dishes, cooked or cold with fruit and nuts, to refine salad dressings and in baking. Amazing healthy stuff!!!
Rich and creamy. This is a great tasting quark. Great either for sweet or savoury dishes. I grind fresh linseed and add chopped fruit and a dash of honey - makes a filling and healthy feeling breakfast. Would highly recommend the brand.
Excellent product, works for baking/ cooking too
This quark has great texture and taste. I use it for all kinds of things, as a dessert with fruit, with musli, instead of yoghurt, on bread with jam. It is incredibly versatile. You can also use it for baking and cooking, eg. for baked cheesecake, as topping with pancakes Austrian style, Austrian Topfen, which is Quark, strudel. If you are unsure, find a recipe which asks for Quark or Topfen.
a must have
Since I have joined SW, i eat quark daily. I use it for everything: cooking, in replacement of mayo, cream and butter. I use it a lot as yogurt or fromage frais substitute and eat it with berries and waffles. This particular quark is one of my favourites as it is a lot thicker and creamier than others.
NOT for cooking
Quark can be used like a dessert - mixed with fruit, jam, lemon and sugar or to make a cheese cake - or as a dip with chives, dill, onion powder, garlic powder, spring onions etc.....but shouldn't be used to make a pasta sauce or any sauce...
separated when used for cooking
Im sure this is great cold for breakfast or in a smoothie. I used in a pasta sauce and it separated and I had to throw away - definitely not for cooking.
