Perfect every time!
Ive sworn by these for years and have now converted my parents, my father (who hates frozen food) insists my mother buy them now rather than cook fresh ones!
Apparently better than mine!
I normally roast my own parsnips but I bought these for convenience. I served them for dinner without telling my husband they were frozen and he complimented me on how much better my parsnips tasted!!!! They are various sizes which can be frustrating when youve only got tiny ones left in the packet but Id happily buy again.
Ive recently discovered I have to be gluten free and couldnt understand why I had problems after eating a meal recently. Then I read the ingredients on this. I really thought I was safe with vegetables but obviously not! Lesson learnt. Why on earth would you put batter on parsnips?
Bag contained very thin slivers of parsnip and large sliced parsnip, so no consistent sizes in the bag. Difficult to cook because of the sizes, some overcooked and others were very underdone. Please sort this out Aunt Bessie's.
not gluten free unlike other products
Most Aunt Bessie chips, roast potatoes etc are gluten free so you may be led to believe these would be too. But no, they have wheat in them! So not suitable for coeliacs, which is such a shame.
So convenient being frozen. Taste is great and you cant tell theyre frozen.
