Product Information
The Official Rosé of RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Fresh and elegant with summer berry notes. This crisp, dry rosé is made in the Provence style by Babylonstoren's talented winemakers. Using sun-kissed Mourvèdre grapes grown on the slopes of Simonsberg mountain, it offers a mouthwateringly fruity profile, bouyed on fresh summer fruit notes and floral flourishes.
Aromas of strawberry and rose petal invite you to a crisp palate suggesting red berries, fresh watermelon and crushed pomegranate, all harmonised with a refreshing lick of acidity.
Babylonstoren Mourvèdre Rosé makes a lovely aperitif paired with olives and salty nuts, or a perfect partner for trout, goat's cheese tart and herby chicken.
Preferably drink within one year of production.
Please drink responsibly: The UK Chief Medical Officers recommend adults do not regularly drink more than 14 units per week

Vinification details
Grapes were gently pressed with minimal skin contact for a pale color and delicate flavor. Cold fermentation in stainless steel kept the wine fresh and aromatic. After fermenting, it was aged briefly on fine lees for added smoothness. Small portions were also aged in cement eggs and clay amphorae, bringing subtle earthy notes and extra complexity. The result is a fresh, elegant rosé with soft texture and a hint of minerality.
