Organic Stoneground Spelt Flour is an ancient relative of modern wheat, it has a delicious and distinctive nutty wheaty flavour. Spelt contains gluten which makes it ideal for bread making; the gluten, however is more fragile than that found in wheat, making it easier to digest. Ideal for bread making.

This flour makes amazing bread. Yum!

After many dispiriting attempts at making wholemeal spelt bread... and on the verge of giving up... I've finally found one that makes AMAZING bread. Yum! I just followed the easy instructions on the pack. Many thanks to Ocado for providing this as a substitute. Switching to this brand henceforth!

Strange flavour

This made a good looking wholemeal loaf but I didn't like the flavour at all. It was overpoweringly strong and sour with a faint fishy smell which was extremly odd and off putting. We toasted the bread the next day and it improved but not enought to repeat buy.

Fabulous

I just love this flour, its my top find and its makes a beautiful Irish Soda Bread. Plus its super healthy.

great flour

I love this flour, I hope Ocado keeps stock. I make with this flour my FODMAP spelt bread! Delicious! Great quality and flavour. I have tried others but not as good as this one!!

too coarse

I have been using spelt flour ONLY, for over 10 years for all my baking. I have tried all the UK brands, some French and some Italian ones. This is way too coarse, only suitable for very rough baking, ie. 'heavy' bread. I do sieve it, which should not be necessary, I remove the very large rough pieces, but it it still coarse and damp. Also this is not the higher quality triticum dicoccum spelt variety. This is a problem with most brands anyway, hence the 2 stars

Great flour, we use it for sourdough. Can Ocado please start stocking Bacheldre Malted flour? This is also great for bread.
