Balvenie Sweet Toast Of American Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Balvenie Stories is a collection of three single malt Scotch whiskies representing tales of character, endeavour and craft created at The Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland.

Inspired to produce an even fruitier, sweeter Balvenie Whisky, Apprentice Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie had the bright idea to import Virgin Oak barrels from Kentucky. After deep toasting them at The Balvenie Cooperage they were filled with Balvenie aged in ex-bourbon barrels.

The result is a delectably complex whisky with notes of candied fruit, coconut and delicate vanilla.

The Balvenie is dedicated to the five rare crafts that are used to create The Balvenie's distinctive taste. It is the only distillery that still grows its own barley, uses traditional floor maltings and keeps both coppersmiths and coppers on site - making The Balvenie the most handcrafted of single malts.
