Barbadillo Manzanilla Pasada En Rama 75cl

95 points - Gold Medal - Manzanilla Trophy
Restrained creamy sherry with subtle notes of Brazil nuts and green olives. Lots of character, really well balanced. A lovely, bright seaside nose leads into a nutty, savoury dryness. Salty and long
Pastora was the first Manzanilla to be bottled, back in 1827 and is a true 'Pasada' with its golden hue and pungent chamomile aroma.

Expensive but wonderful
This is a really great wine. Darker than one might expect for a manzanilla and with a fuller deeper flavour. Did not expect to have to use a corkscrew to get at it, as most sherries come with screw caps. But not this, with a proper old fashioned cork. It is expensive so it is worth looking out for it whenever it is on offer.
Rich but light
such a delicious sherry. salty dry but deep flavour. Can't resist it especially when on offer
very, very good
Yeasty, citrussy and dry. Full of flavour with a long, clean finish. I like to have a bottle in the fridge door as a small glass is a nice treat whilst cooking :) Great aperitif
actively nasty!
Not a cream Sherry. Thin and spiteful.
perfect manzanilla
I enjoy a chilled sherry on a summers night. This manzanilla is a delight. (Oops Im rhyming!)
