ok but small

Very mild white miso so you can use this as a dip direct rather than for a cooking . But very very small in amount.

limited recommendation

Not overly impressed with this paste. Prefer added depth of flavour from a pinch or half a cube of Kallo umami stock cube. Cheaper too.

Great paste

Good for adding flavour too so many dishes. Great when on offer

Good albeit a little too salty

I used the miso in a chicken marinade alongside soy sauce, sugar, mirin, rice vinegar etc. Followed the recipe but the whole dish ended up being too salty. It could have been the recipe or it could have been the miso paste. Good price when on offer!

Adds something extra to a recipe

I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I hadn't tried Miso before but I had heard about it from watching various TV programmes where it had been used in recipes. It's got a subtle taste and adds a little extra to my cooking, I'd buy it again.
