Product Information

Nestled in the green fields surrounding the city of Bath, our cheesemakers still use small batch sizes and individual buckets to perfectly judge every step of the recipe. Bath Blue is made with pasteurised cow's milk from our own single herd dairy and wrapped in compostable natureflex. Naturally peppered with striking blue veins, this delicately made British blue cheese is perfect for cheeseboards, salads or complex flavour combinations.

Bath Blue is aged for 8-12 weeks. Designed using traditional recipes and methods, the Padfield family harnessed decades of notes from teaching cheesemaking to bring together the sweetness of the milk, with the warmth and subtle piquancy of the natural blue veins.

Brand details

At Bath Soft Cheese, the farm and the family story are inseparable.
Today, the farm is run by Hugh Padfield, the fourth generation to
work the land at Park Farm. Cheesemaking has always been part of
the Padfield story, turning milk into something nourishing and full of
flavour. What began as a practical necessity has, over the
generations, become a family tradition - and today, Bath Soft
Cheese continues that heritage with pride.

It started on a small farm just outside of Bath, teaching cheddar
making, tending a herd, growing a family. Today, we both resurrect
historic British cheeses and curate them for future generations, built
on the mastery and excellence of the cheesemakers, at Bath Soft
Cheese.
