Happy to see this return
Pretty sure this used to come in a squeezy bottle many years ago before being discontinued. This is thicker in texture now, from the jar, but has the same sweet flavour. Perfect accompaniment to many dishes. Will keep buying.
THE BEST CHUTNEY...
This is by far the best onion chutney! Tasty pieces of onion in a decent base, not runny! Highly recommend...
The Best..
Having bought this for many years from another supermarket, suddenly it became unavailable...I've not bought it for 10 years! Luckily I bought the entire stock from my local shop just before they stopped stocking it...it's lasted for years. Thank you Ocado for stocking this...by the way for anyone who thinks sweet red onion chutney by Baxters is the same... it is not !!! This is far superior to the red onion one !
Delicious
By far my fave staple onion chutney, perfect with cheeses, in sarnies, burgers and meatballs! Sweet, tangy and crunchy big bits of onion. Just delicious!
Just right
Some onion chutneys are over-caramelised and almost taste burnt but not this one. If you're trying to cut your fat intake it's really nice on light soft cheese (as well as with the lardy classics like cheddar and red Leicester).
Great chutney.
Buy this every shop now as it's so delicious with cheese and crispbread.
