It's my 4.5yo's favourite cereal for years. It has lots of different grains so not dissimilar to a muesli kind of job. Alright levels of sugar and not refined etc. Little one likes having them straight (like a bowl of popcorn) with an oat drink on the side for breakfast. He's really into reading now and the cereal has grown with him, he now looks for letters to produce diagraphs etc. Only thing is that there doesn't seem to be enough of the more common letters, while there's a ridiculous amount of Gs and Qs, for example. Always found that frustrating when actually wanting to write stuff with the cereal. All in all an excellent product.
My Toddler Enjoys Them
I know there are a lot of mixed reviews on here but I dont find them that revolting and my toddler loves them as a quick snack I can put in her snack cup which is mainly why we have them around. One box lasts us ages as shes the only one who eats them really. I find the ingredients acceptable considering what other options are out there. I would give them a go, especially as a snack for toddlers.
My kids love!
Not much in the Alpha Bites range my kids don't love! These are great.
Tastes great and doesnt have salt or added junk
At last, a great tasting cereal without salt (most cereals have huge amounts of salt in them!) and no added junk. You can taste the flavours of the grains and its not too sweet (but sweet enough to be very tempting to eat!).
Style over substance
An exciting packet (for a 2yr old), but the contents were disappointing. Too sweet (refined sugar or not) and otherwise tasteless. Will be moving them over to the crafting section of the kitchen as sticking them on to paper will probably be the best use for them.
Great 'healthy' alternative to Cheerios. Crunchy and not overly sweet! I prefer the cocoa flavour but would definitely still repurchase this.
