Great blended whisky
This is a No1 on my shopping list great tasting, and when on offer great value, some negative reviews here, Whisky is all down to personal taste, eg i purchased a bottle of Johnny Walker Double Black, i thought it was rough.
Tastes Like Old Varnish
Bell's was the leading brand and I drank it often, and I'm quite sure it wasn't always like this.
glue or petrol. not sure which
Just try something a couple of quid more. If you're on a budget go for Jamieson or Bushmills, both of which are better on the palate than this.
Superb value blend.
Bafflingly low star ratings from the previous customers. Nowadays, Bells is a very tasty blend which consistenly scores over 90 percent in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible. And with good reason. I can only think that previous reviewers have memories of the rougher tasting versions from decades past. It's a more than decent blended whisky at a good price.
