A sensational alternative to the now-ruined Ribena
Having enjoyed Ribena for over FORTY FIVE YEARS, I was utterly dismayed when the producers gave in to the anti-sugar, nanny-ing, P.C.lobby - and started putting DISGUSTING chemical, artificial sweetener into this iconic brand. A total TRAVESTY. I was fortunate to quickly discover the amazing, natural, sweet-tasting Belvoir alternative. It is a must-buy for me, and I suspect that many other 'Ribena refugees' feel the same. Belvoir cordials, especially this one, are simply THE BEST. I am confident that they will NOT pander to health fascism, at the expense of taste and quality and integrity of product. Delighted to award them five stars.
I dont normally drink cordial as I find it too sweet, but I really enjoy this one. I dont really drink juice so find this a great substitute in the morning when Im thirsty but not quite ready for the taste of water (!) I dont think it tastes much like Ribena though I can understand the comparisons. Its a more concentrated flavour. Highly recommend.
I love this cordial as it isn’t too sweet. This is the only drink I can tolerate ( apart from water) due to allergies. Blueberries & Vit C help with histamine. Please don’t discontinue.
Sugar is shown as the first ingredient listed , that is not good news.
Closest drink to ribena
This is the closest drink there is to ribena although not quite the same it is lovely. It’s not quite as sweet as ribena and has more of a blueberry aftertaste. It’s very nice and has been the only squash I’ve found to drink since ribena change it’s recipe last year. Hate the taste of artificial sweetners.
Fantastic, finally found a Ribena replacement
After months of weeping over the demise of the treasure that was Ribena that I have happily drunk for more years than I can remember and that has now been ruined by the sugar tax I have found a worthy replacement. This stuff is absolutely fantastic and is just as good as the old Ribena although rather more expensive. A price worth paying in my book.
