Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough Vanilla Ice Cream Tub 465ml

Product information
We used to have a bulletin board where people could suggest new flavours for Jerry & Ben to make — and this idea stood out. The folks at the Scoop Shop immediately went to work mixing up a batch of chocolate chip cookie dough. It was an instant hit.
Initially, the flavour was only available at the Scoop Shop. When we decided to sell it in tubs as a frozen dessert, we had to figure out how to get that familiar cookie-dough taste, consistency and texture at ice cream temperatures.
We teamed up with local producer Rhino Foods and, over an incredible six-year journey, we perfected the cookie dough found in our tubs today.
In 1991, Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream tubs began appearing in freezer aisles everywhere. It has remained one of our most popular and beloved flavours ever since!
We work with Fairtrade certified producers for cocoa, sugar and vanilla, and our caring dairy farmers produce the milk and cream in this tub sustainably.
All of our ice cream is made with free-range eggs, and we use responsibly sourced packaging.

Brand
In 1986, following a tip from a fan, we pondered putting cookie dough in our ice cream. But our machines couldn't handle those big chunks of dough. We had to hand-cut the chunks & throw them into the vanilla ice cream! 5 years later, applying a few secret techniques, we found chunk feeder perfection. 20 years on, we made this fan-favourite Fairtrade too! Happy days!

Inedible
I don't know what's happened to this, but as others have said serving it is like trying to chip concrete. After leaving it out for 15 minutes to no effect I ended up committing a cardinal sin and putting it in the microwave for a short burst, which at least rendered it able to be served, but at great pain to my soul. Nothing like as good as it used to be, would not recommend.
Dreadful
My daughter loves this but its now inedible. A solid concrete lump- I was embarrassed to serve it to my friends daughter and it took 20 minutes before we could chip (and I mean chip) any of it out. We even tried to slice some off by removing from the tub but it was solid as a rock. Its either how its been stored or the recipe has changed but wont be be buying again from Ocado until I can figure out which.
Not creamy at all, solid and tastes like powder
Awful!!! Whats happened to the formula?? Its impossible to scoop even if left out of the freezer its like powder, horrid texture! It used to be creamy and delicious Ive bought a few tubs and no one wants eat it.
can't get it out of the tub
This arrived totally solid, you can't get anything out of it, even after putting the ice cream scoop in boiling water.
ocado doesnt store these correctly = chalk
Used to be about 20% of them arrived chalky and gross but now its been every one for my last 5 shops or so. The chalky texture comes from letting these melt and refreeze. They dont always arrive melty to me, which means the melting is occurring somewhere else besides in the delivery van. I just wont order this product from ocado anymore
terrible
I dont know why ocados stock of this is so bad! It doesnt melt. Its like chalk. Inedible !! I keep buying it thinking theyll realise.
