History
Taking its name from the Berones, a warring Celtic tribe, who inhabited the area in the third century BC, Bodegas Beronia was founded by a traditionally Basque gastronomic society with a passion for fine food and wine.
Regional Information
Beronia nestles in the foothills of Mendiguerra, in the region known as the Rioja Alta. Surrounded by the Sierra de Cantabria to the north and the Sierra de la Demanda to the south, the vineyards enjoy a Mediterranean climate.

Vinification Details
The way this wine is made gives it a very distinct personality. The must used to make Beronia Rose is cold-macerated on its skins, to extract the maximum primary aromas from the Garnacha grapes, then subjected to alcoholic fermentation for two weeks.

Elegant and fruity

Pretty to look at and even prettier to drink. Sweet, fresh, and fruity, and really deep. We enjoyed it with grilled seafood, and it added that touch of elegance to our evening. It's safe to say; we thoroughly enjoyed every drop of it.

Great fruity crisp rose wine

Great bottle of rose with delicate strawberry and cherry aromas, with hints of rose petals. The flavour is a harmonious blend of fresh berry notes, balanced by a zesty acidity that lingers delightfully. Ideal for lovers of crisp fruity rose wines.

Top class wine.

An excellent example of a first class Rose wine. Crisp and sweet with a hint of the Rioja red about it. Light and easy to drink with a lovely tingle as it hits the palate. Chilled and sit in the sun with a smile.
