Olive oil is at the centre of the Italian kitchen and has always been at the heart of our Bertolli recipe.

Nice spread, but contains palm oil
Nice spread, but contains palm oil, so won't be buying again
Our favourite spread if having butter is not possible or not convenient
Love The Spread, Hate The Plastic Tub!
I love Bertolli Original Spread BUT the plastic tubs are rotten. The lids break almost immediately and I’ve had several split right down to the base, resulting in me having to transfer the contents into a Tupperware pot. Once the lid splits, it’s very sharp so you have to be careful not to cut your fingers on it. I did let Bertolli Customer Service know but they were not interested in making their containers more robust. The current ones are way too thin and flimsy. You have been warned! I am currently seeking a suitable alternative.
Mild olive taste
Mild tasting olive flavour but healthier than some other spreads. Delicious on toasted bread, crumpets, etc.
Perfectly good butter substitute
Nothing wrong with this. Normal spread. Nothing much to say about it.
