All you need is:
1 medium egg
35ml oil or 42g melted salted butter
65ml water (4 tbsp & 1 teaspoon)
2 pinches of salt

Prep. time: 10 mins
Baking time: 22-25 mins
Baking: 1 (20x20cm) square tin
Preheat oven to 180℃ (160℃ for fan assisted ovens) / Gas Mark 4. Line square tin with baking paper.

3 Simple steps!
1. Stir egg, water, oil and brownie mix (or egg, water, salted butter and brownie mix) in a medium bowl until well blended. Then, mix the caramel sauce with 2 pinches of salt in a separate bowl and heat for 30 seconds in the microwave. Do not eat unbaked batter.
2. Pour half of the batter into the prepared tin. Drizzle and spread out the caramel sauce on the brownie batter. Cover with the rest of the brownie batter.
3. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until skewer inserted 5 cm from edge of tin comes out almost clean. Cool, then slice.
