Lovely quality
Very happy with this sugar, use regularly in baking.
Perfect in baking
Actually, it's really good in all applications
Lovely sugar, but not Fairtrade that I can see
Such a shame, as I want to support fair trade. I like this sugar but wont buy it without knowing its fairtrade
B for Baking
I personally try to minimise intake of refined sugar, that Id add organic honey to tea and maple syrup to coffee too though, adding more liquid might change a baking recipe, so used this organic golden caster for baking sponge cakes and Im happy with the result. British cake flour tends to be heavier than French T45 or Japanese Hakurikiko cake flour, so replacing granulated sugar to be this finer golden caster sugar helped for lighter fluffier sponge cakes with lovely deep-mellow sweetness without being dense and grainy like golden dreams of baking heaven!
the only sugar we use now
Great golden sugar!
Perfect for coffee
This sugar is easy to mix in baking but also perfect for coffee, hot or cold (using a hand held mixer for the cold one). The fact that it is unrefined, hopefully reduces the speed of absorbtion into the system. It certainly tastes milder and less acidic than white sugar.
