Bio-Kult Pregnéa is scientifically developed to support women before, during and after pregnancy. Our advanced multi-strain formulation contains vitamin C & D3, as well as zinc and folate, all of which contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Folate also contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy. Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status. A low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. The beneficial effect is obtained with a supplemental folic acid daily intake of 400µg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. Magnesium contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
