Coffee Logs are high-performance eco briquettes from bio-bean. They're made from your recycled coffee grounds, and are ideal for use in stoves, open fires, woodburners and chimineas.
The UK produces 500,000 tonnes of waste coffee grounds each year. bio-bean collects this coffee waste from cafes, coffee chains and office blocks all over the UK, and uses it to manufacture Coffee Logs at the world’s first coffee recycling factory in Cambridgeshire. This diverts waste away from landfill, and reduces emissions that contribute to climate change.
Coffee Logs don't smell like coffee once they're lit (we know you were wondering) but because coffee contains a lot of energy, they burn hotter and for longer than wood.
Thanks to our new and improved formula, Coffee Logs now contain 30% more energy, for a longer burn time. They are also more durable, and each bag of Coffee Logs now weighs an extra 2kg.
So if you're looking for a fuel that can heat your home while helping the planet, try Coffee Logs this winter.
In Autumn 2017, Coffee Logs were named one of Kevin McCloud’s Green Heroes, and also won the Café Life Best New Product award.

These little logs burn really well and have a better environmental footprint than wood. I didnt notice a bad smell as per previous reviewer, only a slight smell of coffee on first opening the bag. I normally buy kiln dried logs packed in a plastic bag, so it was really great to find something more environmentally sound. The only reason I took a star off is that they are nearly twice the price of my kiln dried logs. It would be the perfect green option if the price could come down so buying them was a complete no-brainer.
Good quality, I like the fact that it is really eco and I like the smell too. The box is very compact and really easy to find a place to put it.
I like the fact that these are very eco friendly. They burn well on my woodburner but only gave 4 stars because they smell quite unpleasant! In fact I had to keep the packs in my shed bringing in a few at a time when I needed them.
Work well in chimnea and small packet size for storage
They are more expensive than the wood I buy but I found them burning longer and they actually gave more heat than wood. I dont think I would buy them very often because of the cost though.
Definitely on our shopping list
