Delicious!

Nutty and delicious and doesnt take forever to cook, so a good alternative to spelt when youre in a hurry.

Packaging issue

There's clearly an issue with the way this is packaged, judging by other reviews talking about insects. I had to throw the whole bag away due to the contents being mouldy (it had been stored in a kitchen cupboard with all my other dry ingredients). I'm reluctant to buy it again unless the packaging improves.

Full of live beetles

I was shocked to find this contained many small live brown beetles. So many that it was impossible to separate them from the rice. I mean, I know protein is good and all, but... No thanks.

Overpriced

Organic basmati brown rice can be found at less than £4 per kilo (as of Oct 2023).
