great if you toast it crispy
If you treat this as crisp bread and toast it for ages and then drizzle it with olive oil, it is very tasty.
smells as bad as it tastes. made me recoil in horror.
This bread is for toasting...
I don't really eat bread as I'm gluten free and don't do brilliantly on bread in general. Except for this bread. I use it as a treat and have it toasted topped with avocado, lemon juice and a poached egg...So good! It is not a sandwich bread, or really a bread that you'd eat as it is, but when toasted it is lovely and crispy and nutty, a bit like rye bread, but a great gluten free alternative. My hubby commented on how nice it was when I make it for breakfast. I keep it in the freezer and take it out and toast it when needed. it's also fab toasted with a cacao nut butter! I do wish Biona could make it without the soya lecithin and cornflour though.
Horrible texture and taste. Very little flavour.
I had high hopes but was very disappointed. Fed them to the fish in the end.
Just no ! The texture and no taste what so ever ! Too expensive ! The rye breads are nice but this is just not worth it whatever I do to it
