Biona Organic Long Grain Italian White Rice

Grown in Italy’s verdant mirror-like rice plains, our organic rice is the long grain variety – which means it is less sticky and fluffier.


As with all Biona products, this rice is grown with no artificial pesticides, herbicides or GMOs. So, unlike many grains, which can contain up to 40 different pesticides and herbicides, it is entirely chemical-free – which is better for both you and our planet.


In addition, to bring even more eco-goodness to your cupboard, the packaging is 100% paper, so it’s totally recyclable.


Our organic long grain white rice is easy to cook, so makes for the perfect kitchen staple. Enjoy it cold, mixed with olives, peppers, tomatoes, cucumber and seasoning as a summer rice salad – or serve it with a crunchy vegetable stir fry straight from the wok.

Place 125g of Long Grain Rice and 250ml of water in a saucepan. Bring to the boil, cover with lid and reduce heat. Simmer for approx 12-14 mins.
