solid consistency
When I opened this (well within date) it was completely solid with the oil sitting on the top. Whilst you often have to stir tahini a bit this was impossible to mix the oil in and I had to cut it with a knife. Would not buy again
expensive but tasty
Lovely taste but very expensive for the quantity

I grew up eating home made Tahini as did many generations of my family members before me. This is Tahini or Tahina as we called it at home. The texture is a little too smooth for my likely & different to our home made version but Tahini/Tahina traditionally is simply sesame seeds milled to a paste which then used as Tahini sauce with added Olive oil/lemon juice/ salt etc depending on its use. The taste of Tahini will depend on the quality of the sesame seeds used & this bottle is fine however because of the overly smooth texture which isn’t too my liking,I am unlikely to purchase again. If you like very smooth Tahini go for it but there are better versions available.
It may consist of sesame, but it is not tahini
A real tahini should never – I repeat – never be sour and mayonnaise-esque. Whoever likes this, clearly has never tried the real thing.
gorgeous + creamy = 0 cholesterol
Absolutely delightful. Addictive as healthy . Creamy and gorgeous with some Fage yogurt ! This matches pretty much anything : spicy foods ,grilled meats and salad . Haven with sesame !
Tiny but useful
Very small jar but quality is good and organic. Would be nice to have a raw tahini version but this is a fairly ok price.
