Widely used in Japanese cuisine, this short grain rice is subtle in flavour and has the classic stickiness that makes it perfect for rolling sushi. As well as sushi, it can be used in other delicious dishes, such as alongside wholesome curries or your favourite stir fries.

Cooking instructions (serves 1): Rinse 60g of Biona sushi rice in a sieve until the water runs clear. Transfer into a medium saucepan and cover with 240ml water. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for 12 - 14 minutes. Rice should be tender and water should be absorbed. Once cool enough to handle use for your favourite sushi fillings.

Hob - From Ambient. Rinse 60g of Biona Sushi Rice before adding to a saucepan with 240ml water. Bring to the boil, reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 12-14 mins. When cooked, rice should be tender and water absorbed. Use once cool enough to handle.
