Great for smoothies
I used this today replacing Banana that I cannot eat anymore. I wasn't keen on the saltiness but just rinsed a portion under filtered water. Great substitute in smoothies
Lacks protein
The description is misleading about protein. It has 1.5% of protein which is not nearly enough to replace meat, fish, eggs or nuts to sustain the body.
Great Jackfruit
Love this jackfruit - good taste and texture. Use in curries and stir-fries.
not for us
I was sent this to review for Ocado. Ive not eaten much jack fruit and Im afraid we werent very keen on the taste of this product. Might help to have recipe idea on can.
Great in Thai no-fish cakes
Used these in a recipe Id seen on TV for Thai no-fish cakes. Worked really well. First time using jackfruit and found it to be a really good alternative texturally and it took on flavour really well.
