A waxed coating has been added to the surface of the cutlery which provides a smoother feel in both the hand and the mouth. The wax is extracted from Carnauba leaves in a way that does not harm the trees. Widely used as a food additive, Carnauba wax is vegan-friendly and leaves no unpleasant taste or smell.
