Dermatologist tested
Witch hazel has been harnessed in skincare for thousands of years, thanks to its anti-inflammatory and skin healing properties. As a gentle astringent, it is believed to help purify and refresh skin, as well as minimise the appearance of pores.

Preparation and Usage
1. Remove strip from pouch. Twist strip to loosen and separate slits prior to use (see illustration).
2. After washing your face, thoroughly wet your nose. The strip won't stick on a dry nose.
3. Dry hands. Peel strip off plastic liner. Apply to nose area, smooth side down, pressing down to ensure good contact with skin.
4. Let dry for about 10-15 minutes until stiff to the touch - like papier-mâché.
5. Slowly and carefully peel off starting at edges, pulling toward centre.

Didn\x27t do anything at all
I found them to be useless. I let them dry completely, but when it came to pulling them off, I was expecting more of a kind of peeling effect, like with a peel-off mask, but it was entirely superficial. There was nothing at all visible on the strips and my pores remained clogged as before. I've found them to be a complete waste of money.
Effective
dried quickly a little hard to remove - left my nose pink and glowing so don't use right before going out, was desperate for a deep pore clean on my nose though abd it's fascinating to see what it pulls out!
not as good as my usual brand
I was sent this by Ocado to review. Not as good as my usual brand thats cheaper!
Okay
Me and my daughters tried these as a freebie from Ocado. My teens liked them and thought they did a good job but they felt a little dry and sore to pull off.
Good
Straight forward to apply and gentle on the skin, did the job
Not the best.
These strips stick on and dry out fine, and they stung to remove, so they worked a little bit, but my nose pores looked very small after removal, where usually with a pore strip they would look large until I used an astringent on them. There wasn't much residue on the nose strip after use, where usually there would be all those little bits. I think the witch hazel and teatree in the strips work against what job they're supposed to do, because they shrink the pores during use, making comedone removal more difficult. They also left behind a fair bit of white glue that I had to wash off. I don't think I'd use these again.
