Our plant-based Prism™ Tea Bags release the full flavour of our loose leaf tea and allow for the purest infusion. They're made from biodegradable plant starch and are industrially compostable so please dispose of them in your food waste.
Birchall Virunga™ is a pure origin tea, sourced from the finest tea gardens in Rwanda, found close to the country's border with the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Virunga National Park. In this region, the tea bushes grow slowly, at high altitude and relatively low temperatures, developing greater flavour before they are individually picked. Our pursuit of quality ensures that all our tea leaves are only ever hand plucked. The leaf, bud and tender stem are carefully pinched together in a 'perfect pick'. This is how Birchall Virunga™ gains its exceptional brightness, yellow gold colour and distinctively refreshing flavour.

Birchall Virunga is a single origin tea, sourced from the finest tea gardens in Rwanda, found close to the country's border with the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Virunga National Park. In this region, the tea bushes grow slowly in rich organic soil, at high altitude and relatively low temperatures, developing greater flavour before they individually picked. Our pursuit of quality ensures that our tea leaves are only ever hand plucked. The leaf, bud and tender stem are carefully pinched together in a "perfect pick". This is how Birchall Virunga gains its exceptional brightness, yellow gold colour and distinctively refreshing flavour.
Our plant-based Prism™ Tea bags release the full flavour of our loose leaf tea and allow for the purest infusion. They're made from biodegradable plant starch and are commercially compostable so please dispose of them in your food waste bin.
The bag you can see inside is made from renewable cellulose which means it's home and commercially compostable.

Delicious
A consistently lovely, refreshing afternoon blend. Not cheap, but easily better than teas Ive had from Fortnum & Mason

Lovely afternoon blend
Less bitter than a breakfast blend. Nice and smooth, great flavour.

Smooth, quality tea
I was sent this product free of charge, to review. Good quality pyramid bags - no tea dust like you get in cheaper tea bags. Nice, smooth flavour, though my husband prefers a more robust brew. I would certainly consider purchasing for myself.

Good cup of tea
We reviewed these and enjoyed the tea. We like strong tea and didn’t find the tea overly strong.

Nice tea but expensive
Sent this to review. I enjoyed it but wouldn’t pay the premium price.
