The best by a great distance
A really superb product. One of the few vegatables that you can buy frozen that are not damaged by the process. I've never found another frozen brand to beat them, and I believe these are probably better/healthier than fresh, especially when used in pastas and stir-frys. I always keep them in. Like any green beans, invaluable when you are dieting.
I can definitely taste the difference in quality with birds eye green beans and tesco ones! These are much fresher and tastier! My favourite brand for frozen veg
Not what it says on the packet
The packet says they are Very Fine Green Beans. Well, no. They are big and chunky and I dont like them. Just too big. Not a hint of fineness about them. Shant buy again.
let's face it Birds Eye is a premium brand, these are no exception.
Shame. Thought they would be as good as others in the range. There were a lot more woody bits than other brands. Ill stick with waitrose. And also they dont come in the zip lock bag like others in the range.
They went from bright green, stringy and crunchy, to pulpy, stringy and grey. I'm just glad I only bought one bag.
