In 1877, our founder Angelo Poretti established the Birrificio Angelo Poretti brewery in the foothills of the Campo dei Fiori mountain range in Valganna, Northern Italy. Today, our beer is brewed based on the traditional Italian recipe, which delivers a full-flavored Lager with an assertive hoppy bitterness, a flavour profile iconic to the Italian ‘aperitivo' culture where bitter drinks are used to ignite the appetite and begin a dining experience.

Used to buy Moretti but in the UK it seems to have deteriorated in taste so mis buy this.
Pleasant on a hot day
I received this product to review months and months ago. Its taken me till now to write the review because its been sitting in the kitchen while I got on with drinking my preferred lager Asahi. I did try it back in November, found it ok, but not nice enough to have another. I suspected that I might like it more another day as the day in question was very cold and perhaps cold lager was just not what my stomach wanted. Well Im happy to report that in the hot days of June I found myself craving a beer and chilled a few of these. Much better. Yes a little malty as other reviewers noted, akin to Moretti. Pretty nice, I can recommend it after all.
I was given this to try by Ocado in return for a review. I was pleasantly impressed. Light and no bitter aftertaste. As good as leading brands. Would purchase this myself and recommend to friends and family.
I am leaving this review as I have been given a free sample to try. This beer lager has character and perhaps a unique flavour. It might be more palatable in the Italian sunshine but it was not to my taste in the dreary, drab hills of the weather here.
Delicious Italian Beer
Received product in exhange for an honest review. Pleasantly surprised having not heard of the brand and comparing it to more well known Italian beers. Light but flavourful. Would purchase in future.
Refreshing and crisp!
We were given this to review. We had it straight from the fridge. It was very drinkable and thirst quenching and not too heavy.
