Puebla is home to some of Mexico's richest culinary and cultural heritage. Nestled in the shadow of a dormant volcano, it is this vibrant city and landscape that inspired our chilli & lime tortilla chips. Commonplace on these colour soaked streets is the marriage of stinging chilli heat and sharp citrus fruit flavours. Be it fresh mango dusted with chilli and splashed with lime juice served from a tricycle vendor, or the spicy citrus rim of a refreshing michelada in a neighbourhood cantina. Few pairings conjure such vivid memories and so quickly transport us back to those wanderlust days.

Brand
We select the very best whole non-GMO corn, which we cook then steep overnight, before grinding into a dough called masa using our hand-carved, Mexican volcanic stones. An ancient process called Nixtamalisation. While still hot, this masa is shaped and baked into tortillas. We then leave the tortillas to rest overnight, before cutting and lightly frying them to become the most delicious, authentic tortilla chips.
It takes three days from start to finish, but we think it's worth the wait.

Lime tang very strong
Lovely and crispy with a good chilli heat, but I personally found the lime too strong.
a punch of flavour but very sour
I an a but undecided on these nachos. They are sour and spicy at the same time. Definitely a punch of flavour but a bit too much citric acid for my liking. Texture is nice, not too hard but also not thin.
Yum!
Review product. Really, really lovely! Crispy, tasty and are so nice on their own and as an accompaniment to chilli which is what I had. I was so impressed, I shall buy in the future.
strong flavour
a little too strong flavour to eat with chilli con carne, but tasty enough. I would buy it again when on offer but not sure if I would at the full price...
chilli and citric acid
A triumph of marketing over quality these, I dont know how they got a great taste award. The texture is great to be fair, but the flavour is drowned in citric acid.
